Associate Pastor - Worship

Tyler Murphy serves as Associate Pastor of Worship at Highpoint Fellowship. Highpoint has been home to Tyler for many years. He grew up in the youth group, interned at the church during college, and now serves on staff. Tyler graduated from Cincinnati Christian University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and Worship Ministry. He married his wife, Caitlin, in 2008, and they have two sweet boys, Levi and William, and a fiesty puppy named Penny!

Favorite Food: He's not picky. Just don't put mushrooms in it!

Favorite Music: Phil Wickham, Shane & Shane, All Sons & Daughters, Needtobreathe, Ben Rector, Dayglow, and Jimmy Eat World

Favorite Sports Teams: Hook 'em Horns! Michigan Wolverines, Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs, and Minnesota Vikings (or just the underdog)

Favorite Pastimes: Watching TV shows and playing video games

Favorite Bible Verse: 2 Corinthians 4:5 – "For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake."

Tyler believes there are two kinds of people in the world: those who love boy bands… and those who are liars!
Tyler and Caitlin both grew up in Highpoint’s youth group. Through every stage, Tyler has seen Highpoint’s culture of caring for and loving people stay the same. It’s a come-as-you-are community!
